Sky Satellite TV Installation in Tunbridge Wells
DHTech are not associated with or affiliated to Sky, but we offer a dish and equipment installation and setup service for both standard and more difficult installations, or we can take more time to offer a bespoke service by conducting a survey and discussing options before proceeding.
The Sky signal is received via a satellite dish, usually a mini 43cm dish is all that’s needed. The receiving device is the low-noise block (LNB) on the end of the dish arm. It can be quad, which can feed two Sky HD boxes, or octo, which can feed four Sky HD boxes.
SkyQ uses the same 43cm mini dish with a special wideband LNB. Twin cables then take the signal to the main SkyQ box. You can then have up to three additional SkyQ mini boxes streaming content directly from the main box via WiFi, so no cabling from the dish is required.

SkyHD Extra Sky Feeds (Return).
For the previous generation SkyHD box(es) we install extra feeds either from the dish for a second box or a return feed from the main box to feed another room in your house. A magic eye can then be attached to the cable for remote operation. The return feed only allows you to watch the same channel that’s on the main box, but this is a more cost-effective option than having a second box as no additional subscription is required.
